Dear Madam, dear Sir,

I have the pleasure to contact you in my quality of promoter of both the Festival and the homonymous awareness campaign known as «Un organo per Roma», «An Organ for Rome».

If you wish, these initiatives - both of them parallel and complementary - may be described to you in detail by Franco Perroni, a Luxemburg resident and our coordinator abroad Questo indirizzo email è protetto dagli spambots. È necessario abilitare JavaScript per vederlo.   /   +32 472 963 807.

Very important : None of you will be contacted again in the future, whatever the reason, including financial issues. Nor will your personal data be used for purposes other than those specified below.

The project «An Organ for Rome» was initiated to solve a problem related to high quality music, culture in general and the city of Rome. As a matter of fact, its main space for concerts, the magnificent Auditorium-Parco della Musica designed by Renzo Piano, has no pipe organ as everywhere else in the world !  Such a situation, which we have been enduring for years now, has no reason to continue, apart from the fact that it is an unquestionable anomaly in the context of concert halls. Furthermore, our initiative is totally non-profit and all the high-level artists (musicians, actors, dancers) who perform in the Festival are volunteers and do not receive any reward. All our concerts take place in the great hall of the Conservatorio S. Cecilia, as well as in the Roman Forum.

If you agree to support our campaign, we’ll need a short message (by e-mail, post card or letter) that we’ll include in a folder among other proofs of friendship coming from different countries. And would you please state your first and last names, title or profession, and place of residence. I am addressing this message first to people related to the musical, artistic, cultural and institutional milieus, as well as to those who have an interest in high quality music and who are furthermore sensitive to the international prestige of the city of Rome.

I hope to receive a positive response from you, so that the competent authorities become conscious of the purpose of our initiative aiming at solving a situation no longer tolerable (i.e. the delayed lack of a concert organ in the Roman Auditorium-Parco della Musica). Meanwhile, we are setting up a website and we are at your disposal for any additional information you may need.

With my sincere thanks for your kindest attention.   Very cordially yours,

Rome, April 22nd, 2020
